Vyšehrad is a historic fortress and area located in Prague, the capital city of the Czech Republic. The name "Vyšehrad" translates to "upper castle" in English, reflecting its elevated position on a hill overlooking the Vltava River. It holds great significance in Czech history, culture, and mythology. In the centre of the park stands the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, this Neo-Gothic church is one of the most recognizable landmarks in Vyšehrad. Its twin spires dominate the skyline. There are many fortifications, ramparts and great views across the city and river to enjoy.

The Charles Bridge (Karlův most) is the most beautiful bridge over the Vltava River in Prague. Construction started in 1347 under the reign of King Charles IV. Charles Bridge is decorated with 30 baroque statues and marked by tall towers at each end.
